2025 Sakharov Prize Honors Journalists in Jail

European Parliament named Andrzej Poczobut and Mzia Amaghlobeli 2025 Sakharov Prize winners.
Both are jailed for activism linked to their journalism.
Sakharov Prize, established in 1988, honors human rights defenders.
Poczobut, convicted in Belarus, serves 8-year sentence in Novopolotsk.
Prize includes €50,000 and will be awarded in Strasbourg on Dec 16.
Tsikhanouskaya calls the award a message to political prisoners.
Past laureates include Nelson Mandela and Malala Yousafzai.
