Antarctica Witnesses Rare 'Ring of Fire' Solar Eclipse

An annular solar eclipse (ring of fire) is visible in Antarctica and to penguins/researchers on Tuesday.
Annular eclipses occur when the moon doesn't fully cover the sun, leaving a ring of sunlight.
Solar eclipses happen a few times a year, visible only in the moon's shadow path.
Next total eclipse is in Europe/Russia in August.
