Belgian Defense Minister Addresses Drone Incidents

Belgium's Defence Minister Theo Francken investigated drone sightings near Marche-en-Famenne military base on Oct 26 and 28.
Four to five drones were reported near the base, 113 km southeast of Brussels, with Francken calling them 'not the work of amateurs'.
This marks the third recent drone incident near Belgian military sites, including Elsenborn camp.
NATO countries are on high alert following airspace violations, and the European Commission proposed a counter-drone system.
Francken urged weapons like drone nets and anti-drone shotguns due to limited current capabilities.
