MSNBC will rebrand as MS Now, a new name for My Source News Opinion World, and introduce a new logo this year following its spinoff from Comcast-owned NBCUniversal. Comcast spun off most cable networks into Versant, a publicly traded company including MSNBC, CNBC, USA Network, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, and Golf Channel. The rebrand emphasizes Versant's future growth and independence, with the peacock symbol retained by NBCUniversal. MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler confirmed no change in editorial direction, focusing on distinct brand identities and an independent news operation. CNBC will keep its full name but drop the peacock logo. Comcast retains NBCUniversal assets like NBC News, NBC Sports, and Peacock streaming platform.
