Core Devices Unveils Pebble Time 2 with Enhanced Features
Eric Migicovsky, the original creator of the Pebble smartwatch, has revealed the final design for the Pebble Time 2. The watch will debut in four colors, feature a multicolor RGB LED backlight, a second microphone, compass sensor, and stainless steel construction. It includes a 1.5-inch 64-color e-paper display, touch screen, 22 mm strap, heart rate monitor, step and sleep tracking, speaker, vibration motor, and waterproof rating. Available for preorder at $225, it pairs with smartphones via Bluetooth for notifications, music control, and internet connectivity. Preorders for the Core 2 Duo can upgrade to the Pebble Time 2 without canceling the original order.
