Eurovision Song Contest 2026 Host City Announced: Vienna, Austria Selected
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be hosted in Vienna, Austria. Austria won the 2025 contest with singer JJ (Johannes Pietsch) winning with his song "Wasted Love" after a close competition with Israel's Yuval Raphael. Vienna has been chosen as the host city for the 70th edition of the contest following a competitive bidding process. The event will take place at Wiener Stadthalle, Austria's largest indoor arena. Vienna has hosted Eurovision previously in 1966 and 2015. The first and second semi-finals will occur on May 12 and 14, 2026, with the grand final on May 16. A list of participating countries for the 70th contest will be announced later this year.
