Gill's Bribery Conviction Sparks Reform UK Controversy

Nathan Gill pleaded guilty to eight bribery charges for accepting payments to make pro-Russia statements as an MEP from December 6, 2018, to July 18, 2019.
Gill led UK Independence Party Wales from 2014 to 2016 under Nigel Farage and Reform UK Wales from March to May 2021.
Nigel Farage called Gill a 'bad apple' and expressed shock, stating he was unaware of the allegations, only knowing Gill had visited Ukraine.
Reform UK admitted 609 candidates were not vetted before the snap poll.
Gill faces sentencing in November with expected jail time.
Zack Polanski challenged Reform's denials on BBC Question Time, questioning Gill's past with the Russian state.
