Immigrant Families Targeted in Arkansas

Arkansas county partnered with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to crack down on immigration, resulting in 450+ arrests from Jan to mid-2022.
Arrests for minor offenses have split families and caused fear among immigrant groups from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Marshall Islands.
Cristina Osornio, a Mexican legal resident, was detained for days after a traffic stop, despite being a mother of six children.
