Kindness of Strangers Helps Panamanian Child Dylan Morales Visit Phillies

Dylan Morales, a 9-year-old Panamanian boy with cerebral palsy, received a special trip to see the Philadelphia Phillies after meeting infielder Edmundo Sosa, a fellow Panamanian. The visit, arranged by the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Panama, allowed Morales and his mother to travel to Philadelphia for leg surgery at Shriners Hospital. Morales' mother, Anna, expressed gratitude for the community's hospitality and medical expertise, highlighting the positive impact of the trip. After surgery, Morales was able to give up his wheelchair with doctor approval. The Phillies now have a new forever fan, and Morales and his mother plan to return to Panama at the end of the month.
