Labour Introduces Initiative for Young Unemployed

Chancellor Rachel Reeves announced paid work placements for long-term unemployed youths on Universal Credit for 18 months.
Reeves stated, 'We won’t leave a generation of young people to languish without prospects.'. One in eight 16-24-year-olds are not in education, work, or training.
Initiative ensures every young person receives a paid work offer.
Refusing job offers without a valid reason could lead to benefit loss.
