Safari World Bangkok Lion Attack Leaves Keeper Dead

Zookeeper killed by lions at Safari World Bangkok on September 10, 2025.
Incident occurred during a routine feeding shift.
Supervisor left vehicle door open, allowing lion to approach.
Lion attacked keeper from behind; three to four lions joined, mauling him for 15 minutes.
Zoo officials fired guns to disperse lions.
Drive-in zone closed until safety is assured.
Authorities investigate zoo's lion licenses with Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation and Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species.
