Western Japan Skies Illuminated by Massive Fireball Meteor
A huge fireball streaked across western Japan’s night sky, visible for hundreds of miles. Residents described it as brighter than daylight, causing shock and surprise. Experts identified it as an exceptionally bright meteor, not an alien event. The fireball, reportedly as large as one meter, was observed by dashcam footage and reported to have entered the Pacific Ocean. Toshihisa Maeda, head of Sendai Space Museum, noted the light was as bright as the moon and caused air vibrations. NASA states objects causing such fireballs can exceed one meter in size.
