Hera to Study Post-Impact Asteroid
NASA's DART spacecraft collided with Dimorphos in September 2022.
Impact ejecta doubled momentum transfer with a beta parameter near two.
Orbit shrank 1,200 feet and 0.15 seconds via 22 stellar occultations and 6,000 astrometric measurements.
Earth remains safely outside the asteroids' path.
ESA's Hera spacecraft will arrive later this year to study Dimorphos.
