McGrail-Bateup Claims New World Record in Shouting

McGrail-Bateup set world record for loudest individual shout at 122.4 dB.
Guinness World Records confirmed 58-year-old's 122.4 dB shout surpasses 121.7 dB by Annalisa Flanagan.
McGrail-Bateup, Canberra's town crier since 2017, holds role in Ancient and Honorable Guild of Australian Town Criers.
He broke 2019 arrow-shooting speed record, but a 7-year-old child later surpassed it.
McGrail-Bateup won 2024 guild competition with 98 dB 'Oyez, Oyez, Oyez' shout.
He acknowledges Flanagan's female record as 'loudest female' and says records are meant to be broken.
